The C9 concept is a turnkey solution for franchisees, offering a fully equipped store setup. To streamline operations and simplify warranty and servicing processes, the team decided to move away from using multiple refrigeration brands and instead adopt a single trusted supplier across all future stores.

When planning their Marrickville location, C9 approached their shopfitting partner, Protech Hospitality Hub, for guidance on selecting refrigeration equipment that aligned with their product needs, layout requirements and long-term franchise model.

The following units were selected:

  A compact under-bench ice maker producing up to 37kg of solid cube ice per day — an efficient back-of-house essential.
• UF0650SDF – Upright Storage Freezer
  A 650L stainless steel freezer ideal for storing ice cream and frozen ingredients when not in service.
• UF1300SDF – Upright Storage Freezer
  A larger 1300L two-door freezer offering additional capacity and easy access for high-volume prep environments.
• UC1300SD – Upright Storage Fridge
  A spacious two-door fridge designed to hold large quantities of ingredients between +1°C and +5°C, supporting food safety and workflow efficiency.
• UBC2230SD – Under Bench Storage Fridge
  A 553L four-door under bench fridge placed beneath the counter for quick access to drinks, garnishes and food prep items.
